Our Mission
Family Reading Partners seeks to increase family literacy in our community by empowering parents to read regularly with their children starting at birth, so that every child develops pre-reading skills before entering kindergarten.
What We Do
Our trained volunteers model reading and conversational techniques that nurture brain development, language acquisition, and the social/emotional health of the child during the critical growth years from birth to five years. We provide high quality children’s books for families’ home libraries.
